A big thanks to, Sun-Sol

Thank you to everyone at Sun-Sol, sorry it took me this long to get around to it but getting back into the groove of real not-being-taken-care-of-like-a-big-baby, life how could I forget about the team giving me all they could because they are so new but they still wanted to help the cause! So they provided an awesome baseball-cap and specific made cycling shirt made out of sun sol material that acutally helps my skin!

GREAT PRODUCTS- heres a little more about them

Kingston to Ottawa beautiful!

So we had a great day today, we began in Kingston with our host Ken’s wife giving a speech about their daughters cancer, a horrible experience without a doubt but Ken was really happy to see his family like we all have up until today. Today we started with a ride along with J& J cycle from Kingston and I saw their brand new powerplant, 81 wind turbines on the island, all the citizens dont like it but over 200 megawatts will be generated on that island. As a family we acted riding well together through eastern Ontario over bumps and getting lost we all did well, another beautiful day in Canada. We covered 200 kilometers today and we are just now 9:00 pm getting ready to go to to Quebec City in the morning, 5 hrs from now we will be in Quebec for one of our last days.

Happy Fathers Day Dad! it was good to see you yesterday I hope you are doing well - thanks for reading

Terry fox ran on these roads…

Today marks the first day after Hump day. We are well into the first day of the second half of the ride as a group we left out of Thunder Bay yesterday morning with a bunch of ride-along people, this year it was bigger than ever with about 30 riders participating, the best experience of the ride in thunder bay was the Terry Fox memorial, just outside the city center, we stopped and had some pictures and spoke with the locals about our ride. Yesterday was an INCREDIBLE ride, in every perspective, the weather was perfect, the times were good, and the group rode well through the biggest hills we have encountered in the entire country. Northern Ontario WINS the huge hills award, the RV caught me going down one of those hills at 80 km/h for about 5 minutes. Of course we had to climb up those hills too which makes it an experience of a lifetime, 25 minute climbs, headwinds… of course (we have had headwinds all across the country- and not easy lax ones either) We had dinner at the Terrace Bay community center with showers. Then we packed up the RVs and headed to Sue Saint Marie where we slept for 2 hours. Great day, great accomplishment, this marks halfway folks. Today was great, we are working well as a team and enjoying the company and riding partners this experience is great, my body has learned not to cry out with soreness and heal quickly because it has to do the same thing over again tomorrow, and the next day. Nobodys complaining about anything, we ride, as a team, not leaving anyone behind unless they choose to ride on the RV. Great team, good times Half. Way.

“were taking a little detour” thanks RCMP

Another day! another DAY! its 9 P.M. and we’ve been on our bikes since 8:00 A.M. we rode across BC and now we are driving the rest of the way. I cant begin to explain how cool the mountains were, they never end as we speak we are driving through more of them. We rode like a TEAM today, in formation together, and enjoyed each moment. The day consisted of waking up after our first night in the 18 wheeler eating breakfast and looking on the awesome day we had ahead of us. It began with some hills winding along a huge river in valleys, we saw some creatures but most of all just had a great time riding, I lead most of the time no biggy :D, there were awesome views from start to finish, before we knew it we were in Penticton (AWESOME mom dad, were moving) and we were greeted by some of the “miss” teens of penticton got my photo with them which you can see soon. Sorry for not twittering I didnt have my phone with me, you can see some of the shots on picasa online. The clouds loomed over the whole Okanagan Valley but we struck gold, and were never hit with a drop of rain, instead we got to enjoy the views of penticton as we rolled in. We then rode from penticton to Kelowna where we were greeted by the sears store there and (should have) had food, then we were escorted by the great RCMP to our 10 k point for the ride along riders, we congratulated them, then left, slowly. The RCMP officer decided that he wanted to take our 390 in-two-day kilomter traveled legs up some of the hills around Kelowna (sorry for spelling it “colona” on twitter, but its the same.. no? So we continued on some GREAT hills… and stopped a total of 8 times to wait, every time our legs set, more and more like cement, MEH we arrived!! in Vernon at around 7:30 local time. and showered and ate at the womens good life fitness upstairs. From what i’ve heard team 3 had to stop early and get shuttled foreward, and team 2 had a few players do the same early, team 1 finished together, and finished strong. now, for a 7 hr RV ride to CALGARY! Status report: Legs = BALLIN Brain = a little dumb Toes = Sore Tan = Farmers Homesickness = 3 (1-10) We ride, for the kids, todays ride was for Marissa, who is fighting cancer twice now in 14 years. Tomorrow will be another child, and another 1000 children helped :) miss you mom dad sebastian and grandma
